Dolphins Looking to Address Offense in the Draft!

I read a really great blog today (actually I read two) about what the dolphins should be doing on draft day and why. Here is the complete blog at Dolphins in depth.

It is no secret Cam Cameron wants to build through the draft. It is also no secret Miami is searching for a future QB and they obviously need offensive line help.

My ideal draft for the Dolphins (at least for the first 2 rounds) would be as follows:

1st pick (no 9 overall): Levi Brown, Penn State
2nd pick (no overall): Trent Edwards, Stanford
3rd pick (no overall - 2nd rounder from the NE Patriots): Steve Smith, Southern Cali

The interesting thing is if Brady Quinn will fall to the Dolphins. Steve Wright has a VERY interesting draft analyst, far different from most Critics. He has Calvin Johnson going number 1 to the Raiders and Gaines Adams going to Detroit (instead of Joe Thomas). Personally I really think the Lions will surely take Thomas, so although I don't fully agree with his draft board I think it is very interesting and really worth the read. I love his analyst of each individual player and he makes a case for everyone. He has Brady Quinn dropping as far as the Dolphins but I feel Cleveland will take Brady Quinn regardless (even if JaMarcus Russell is still on the board). Reason being is they love Quinn, Romeo and Charlie Weis are good friends, he has been in an NFL style offense in ND and above all he WANTS to play for the Browns.

Draft day is just over 2 weeks, soon all these questions will come to an end!
